Stormbit and Tulip enter into a partnership to deliver validated real-time data directly to the Point of Use in GxP manufacturing
Stormbit, a company of the Systec & Solutions Group, and Tulip, the leading frontline operations platform, announce their partnership today. The collaboration combines Tulip's modular, AI-native platform with Stormbit's VEYA platform. This creates a unified data foundation in manufacturing for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical technology manufacturers, seamlessly connecting digital work instructions with digital labeling at the point of use, without paper, printers, or manual data reconciliation.
Tulip's frontline operations platform is an AI-native no-code platform with edge functionality that connects people, machines, devices, and systems in production. In the life sciences industry, manufacturers use Tulip's "Composable MES for Pharma" and "Composable MES for Medical Devices." These enable them to provide apps, agents, connectors, and automations that guide employees through GxP workflows, capture production data directly at the source, and generate error-free eBR (electronic batch records) and eDHR (electronic device history records for medical devices).
Paper-based records are thus replaced by validated digital workflows, and exception-based review accelerates batch release. Tulip supports global manufacturers such as AstraZeneca in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, medical technology, laboratory environments, and general manufacturing.
The VEYA platform from Stormbit combines cleanroom-qualified hardware with no-code software and provides employees with validated real-time data directly in the production environment. VEYA was specifically developed for GxP-regulated life sciences manufacturing and can be integrated with a variety of manufacturing and quality systems. Static, paper-based information is replaced by dynamic, context-based visualization and paperless e-labeling designed to meet EU-GMP Annex 11 requirements. For life sciences manufacturers, this closes a critical final gap in digital transformation: validated data is not only available in corporate systems but also reaches production staff exactly where and when it is needed.
Together, Tulip and Stormbit create a connected production environment for pharma and biotech manufacturers: Tulip manages the GxP workflow and documentation, while VEYA provides validated real-time information exactly where employees work, on room displays and on digital wireless e-paper labels on equipment, containers, and materials. The result is a seamless, paperless, and continuous flow of information that also ensures traceability and proof chain from the app to the label. GxP decisions and batch releases are thus accelerated.
"Life sciences manufacturers have invested heavily in digitizing work instructions and data collection, but this data must also reach the employees at the equipment. By connecting Tulip and VEYA, we close this final gap: validated information is visible, in the right context, and exactly where a decision needs to be made," says Jan-Henrik Dieckert, Managing Director & Partner of Stormbit.
"Tulip's modular platform is the connecting element in a manufacturer's technology stack. Thanks to the open ecosystem, our customers achieve added value in weeks rather than years," says Dillon Forzese, Head of Partnerships at Tulip. "With Stormbit, we extend our platform to the last step of the GxP process: validated information reaches the employees directly at the equipment. This creates a unified, paperless data foundation from the app to the label, enabling our customers' staff to make faster and safer decisions."
