Monitoring in clean rooms

Microbiological environmental monitoring is a key component of quality assurance systems in the production of sterile as well as non-sterile pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, medical devices, and other materials.

The seminar provides practical knowledge on microbiological cleanroom qualification and modern monitoring in regulated cleanrooms. It covers the requirements of EN 17141:2020 as well as EU-GMP Annex 1, including contamination control strategies (CCS).

Participants gain insights into microbiology, contamination risks, hygiene plans, and preventive measures. Additionally, the structure of modern monitoring systems for particles, microbiology, temperature, humidity, and differential pressure, as well as the determination of suitable measurement points, are explained.

The seminar is rounded off with a presentation of the new technology of automated blue light decontamination in cleanroom classes C and D.
