Customers are supported with experience from defining user requirements (URS) through design to qualification.

Qualification: Customers also receive support in qualifying cleanrooms and cleanroom technical systems in new constructions and existing facilities. Qualification Measurements: The experienced and flexible measurement engineers at STZ EURO perform acceptance and qualification measurements of clean areas and associated cleanroom technical systems. Using modern, currently calibrated, and quality-monitored measurement equipment, and highly trained personnel, it is reliably and reproducibly determined whether the required specifications are met. Deviations are responded to immediately, and corrective actions are implemented in coordination with the customer. The documentation of measurement results and boundary conditions is comprehensive and traceable, fulfilling quality requirements such as GMP.

Maximum Energy Efficiency

Energy Optimization: STZ EURO optimizes existing cleanroom systems to ensure energy-efficient and economical operation while maintaining quality standards and operational safety, considering VDI 2083-4.2.

Flow Optimization: Particularly in areas with low-turbulence displacement flow, vortex formation, turbulence, induction flows, cross flows, and uplift flows must be minimized as much as possible. The company supports clients in design, risk analysis, and measurement-based verification and assessment of airflow. Flow videos controlled via menus are created for defined operating modes and personnel interventions, providing convincing information for many clients to demonstrate process safety during inspections (e.g., FDA).

Worldwide Deployment for Clients

Barrier Systems: STZ EURO supports manufacturers of barrier systems in optimizing their air and airflow technology. It assists clients in implementing their systems within the cleanroom environment at the customer site and clarifies relevant interfaces. Additionally, it supports clients during commissioning as part of FAT and on-site. The advantage is delivering optimized cleanroom systems that ensure energy-efficient and economical operation while maintaining quality standards and safety.

Cleanroom Compatibility: Operators of cleanrooms must ensure that, depending on the defined air cleanliness, suitable cleanroom-compatible equipment is used, especially around critical process steps. A possible method for assessing cleanroom suitability is provided by VDI 2083, Sheet 9.1. STZ EURO conducts such analyses to minimize particle emission and contamination during airflow. The optimized components can then be certified, for example, by the Fraunhofer Institute IPA.

Cleanroom Training: Operators of cleanroom systems and operating personnel must undergo regular training. The company conducts individual cleanroom training sessions, including in-house training, e.g., proper aseptic working based on airflow visualizations.

Cleanroom Tightness / Room Pressure Stability: For various cleanroom applications, the highest product and/or personnel protection requirements apply, which in turn require very tight cleanrooms. The company supports clients in defining tightness requirements for cleanrooms and ventilation systems, monitoring construction compliance, and providing tightness verification during commissioning or qualification. Additionally, the specialists are capable of managing complex challenges posed by high room tightness, such as difficult room pressure control circuits, ensuring stable room pressure conditions.
