More than 1,000 branches in seven federal states

Dirk Rossmann GmbH commissioned Piepenbrock with maintenance, window, and frame cleaning for more than 1,000 retail outlets across seven federal states. Office cleaning, construction, and special cleaning services are also part of the service package.

Starting on July 1st and December 1st, 2019, Piepenbrock has been responsible for various facility management services at Rossmann. Germany's second-largest drugstore chain is among the ten most important grocery retailers in the Federal Republic. Rossmann operates a total of 2,150 drugstores in Germany, as well as additional branches in Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Albania, Kosovo, and Turkey.

Holistic approach convinced

The coordination of the large order was extensive: The 1,085 Rossmann stores managed by Piepenbrock are spread across the states of Rhineland-Palatinate, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saarland, Bremen, Hamburg, Lower Saxony, and Schleswig-Holstein. Piepenbrock employees are on duty three to four times a week for maintenance cleaning in the stores. During periods of high customer traffic, cleaning is also performed more frequently. The building service provider impressed its client with an individual concept that considered both the store structure of Rossmann and their distribution across multiple states. Each retail outlet was visited with a checklist specifically developed for Rossmann, and the information was subsequently evaluated centrally. "Customer care in facility management is highly valued at Piepenbrock and is almost unique in its scope across the industry," explains Malte Garschagen, Managing Director of Piepenbrock Facility Management GmbH + Co. KG, highlighting the advantages. The particularly central planning, control, and implementation of all services by a single company create added value for the customer. "We were already impressed by Piepenbrock's professional approach during the bidding phase," confirms Andreas Kühn, Department Head of Maintenance at Rossmann. What convinced him was the comprehensive concept perfectly tailored to Rossmann's needs.
