Vetter opens sales branch in Japan

Vetter, one of the world's leading pharmaceutical service providers for the sterile filling and packaging of injection systems, announced today during a ceremony on-site the opening of its new sales branch in Tokyo. Customers, partner companies, and industry representatives were invited to the event. The new office in Japan emphasizes the importance of the country for Vetter's business activities.

Japan is the second-largest pharmaceutical retail market worldwide and the headquarters of leading international pharmaceutical companies with promising products in development. Establishing a local presence consolidates existing customer relationships, promotes new business, and at the same time strengthens Vetter's position in the global market, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Hiroaki Suzuki will be responsible for the company's activities in Japan moving forward. He reports to Ms. Chervee Ho in her role as Head of Key Account Management for the Asia-Pacific region.

"Last year, we opened our hub for the Asia-Pacific region in Singapore. With the on-site presence in Japan, we are now more strongly represented in the region's most important pharmaceutical retail market and can strengthen personal contacts at the national level and build new relationships there."
