New Service Center Kaiseraugst and Expansion of Service Portfolio

The Testo Industrial Services AG, based in CH 8132 Egg near Zurich, is enhancing its service and performance with even closer customer proximity through the opening of its first Service Center and Service Support Point in Switzerland at the location in Kaiseraugst near Basel.

The rapidly growing number of customers and orders in the Basel metropolitan area and neighboring regions require more presence and customer proximity from the onsite team on-site. This allows for better coordination and implementation of short-term inquiries and projects in a more customer-oriented manner.

The Service Center not only houses the new onsite team leadership, led by Mr. Dr. Thomas Röttsch, a long-standing expert and consultant on all GMP questions, but also serves as an operational, coordination, and command center for all onsite assignments. Additionally, it functions as a storage facility for extensive measurement and calibration equipment and as a contact point for team meetings related to qualification and validation projects with customers. Currently, more than 12 experienced technicians, engineers, and consultants are available in the Swiss onsite service for various project requirements.

With the opening of this Service Center, the continuous expansion and enhancement of existing services are also underway, such as calibration of quality-relevant measuring devices and production equipment, mapping of climate-controlled and temperature-controlled cabinets and rooms, as well as measurement and qualification of cleanrooms.

For some time now, a strengthened team of experts has been offering plant qualifications (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ), validation of computer-controlled systems, process and cleaning validations, and the validation of analytical methods.

Customers can also request ongoing personnel support for quality assurance tasks such as change management, handling deviation reports and CAPA measures, as well as the creation and follow-up of documents in quality assurance, such as batch record reviews or annual product reports (APR). To this end, Testo IS has various personnel and has been authorized for personnel leasing since 2013.

Since 2012, the service portfolio has been supplemented by experienced consultants who can assist, for example, in preparing audits, supplier audits, or in the creation, optimization, and revision of comprehensive quality management systems.
