ALSCO, the inventor of textile services, celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2014. Founded in America, the successful service company has grown worldwide. Today, ALSCO is represented with 140 branches on all continents. The textile service specialist first entered Germany in 1951, starting with the first branch in Cologne. Now, the company has over 20 locations within Germany alone. "We are very pleased about the anniversary. ALSCO is, after all, a rare representative of its kind: since its founding, and for four generations, the company has remained family-owned," said Martin Swierzy, Managing Director of ALSCO Berufskleidungs-Service GmbH Germany.

For the anniversary, ALSCO looks not only back but also forward to the future. "High quality, a broad range of services, and a versatile product selection – it is our declared goal to continue to retain customers from all industries with our services in the long term," says Swierzy. Principles and guidelines that work, as the textile service provider still follows the founder George A. Steiner's principles after a century. He was firmly convinced that long-term business and customer relationships can only be achieved through mutual respect, continuous process improvements, and responsibility towards employees and society.

The fundamental principles of the founder are complemented by ALSCO through ongoing process improvements.
