ISPE presents the "The Future of European Pharma – Flexible, Agile and Sustainable Conference"

ISPE has announced the next European conference on the future requirements for successful pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities/plants. During this two-day conference, which will take place from September 30 to October 1, 2013, in Brussels, Belgium, leading industry experts and regulatory representatives will gather to discuss the latest methods for achieving adaptable production facilities and the challenge of operational flexibility.

According to Thomas Zimmer, Conference Chair, Senior Vice President of Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH, there is an increased focus on Quality Risk Management, Good Compliance Practices, flexible facilities with modular concepts, the use of disposables for quality risk management, the proper implementation of Quality by Design (QbD), and the important topic of Supply Chain Integrity in light of upcoming new GDPs.

The three conference focuses – Operations, Facilities and Plants, IT and Automation – provide participants with insights into the impact of flexible and adaptable manufacturing on pharmaceutical production:
