Target Group

The seminar is aimed at employees from production and engineering who are responsible for conducting and/or organizing calibration/measurement and want to deepen their knowledge in this area.

Objectives

Regular calibration of measurement and control equipment is crucial for maintaining GMP standards in pharmaceutical manufacturing, especially for ensuring the qualification of facilities and rooms. The EU-GMP guidelines not only require regular calibrations but also detailed procedural descriptions and documentation of these processes.

In seminar PT 4, in addition to legal requirements, the organization of these processes and the use of calibration management software for managing and documenting measurement data are covered. Furthermore, the different requirements for calibration in GMP environments and other industries are discussed. Besides GMP-compliant documentation, traceability is a fundamental aspect. Practical tips and assistance in determining measurement uncertainty complete the seminar.
