LockLine Spray Lock: Perfectly coordinated techniques ensure especially fast cycle times

The newest member of the Ortner LockLine family combines perfect technology, speed in the process, and the highest safety standards for the user.

Not always is decontamination with Log 6 necessary. Many entry and exit areas require quick decontamination, and most importantly: they must be flexible in the application of disinfectants. It is precisely for such demanding groups that Ortner's spray doors were developed.
A very fine mist is produced using fog and spray nozzles. The decontamination agent is introduced in the aerosol range (between 3 and 10 µm in size). The very fine mist ensures, on the one hand, rapid distribution of the decontamination agent within the chamber and, on the other hand, as uniform a distribution as possible.
The system monitoring of the chamber is carried out via a scale that precisely monitors the injection quantities chosen for the process. This allows validation and precise process monitoring.

Now, an extensive project with this technology has been completed:
For the company Schülke & Mayr in Norderstedt, 2 spray doors with a total volume of approx. 24 m³ were designed for rapid decontamination of different container sizes.

Features:

  1. Rapid decontamination even for larger volumes
Depending on the choice of decontamination agent, the total process for a chamber of about 12 m³ takes between 15 and 30 minutes.
  2. Possibility of disinfection and decontamination with H2O2
The user can flexibly choose between disinfection using alcohols and acids or decontamination using H2O2, depending on the need.
  3. Safety through clever explosion protection concept
The system can operate with many different decontamination agents. Explosion protection is therefore highly prioritized. Both chambers feature Ex protection zones 0-2.
  4. Environmental friendliness through proven exhaust air management
In exhaust air management, the proportion of highly concentrated air is first directed to the designated incineration plant. The portion falling below the MAK value is released outdoors via the ventilation system. This division ensures, on the one hand, minimal operating costs and, on the other hand, careful handling of environmentally relevant aspects.
  5. Safety through redundant systems
To avoid downtime and process interruptions, the chambers are equipped with a redundant system. The scales and liquid containers are integrated in such a way that a seamless transition from an empty to a full container can occur.
  6. More flexibility through an additional air rinsing process
A process of entry and exit with alcohol or other disinfectants is not always necessary. Therefore, the chamber also features a so-called air rinse process, during which the chamber can be used as a material pass-through without a decontamination process.
  7. Built-in alarm system
Personnel safety sensors monitor the prescribed MAK values with utmost precision.
The chambers have their own alarm system. In case of malfunctions or leaks, a dedicated emergency ventilation program is immediately activated.
  8. User-friendliness through a well-thought-out loading and unloading concept
The chamber is loaded via a loading cart. This cart is docked and positioned in the chamber using a specially developed rail system.
