Full flexibility with online training from the Cleanroom Academy

With the new online training portal of ReinraumAkademie, participants can now continue their education about cleanrooms independently of time and place.

Employees are the decisive factor in maintaining the cleanliness of cleanrooms – and the most common cause of contamination. Well-trained personnel are essential, because even the slightest misconduct, such as improper donning of cleanroom clothing, can lead to contamination.

At the same time, cleanroom operators face the challenge of organizing further training in a way that does not disrupt the processes in the cleanroom. Not an easy task, especially if entire teams need to be trained, which could result in several days of downtime including travel time.

Digital learning portal offers complete flexibility

The solution to this challenge is now provided by CWS Cleanrooms with ReinraumAkademie Online. In early July, they introduced their new digital learning portal with the first course – "Behavior in the Cleanroom". This modern training concept conveys cleanroom knowledge through easily understandable explanatory videos, animations, and infographics. The learned content is reinforced and tested through interactive exercises and quizzes. "People's learning behavior has changed significantly over the past years due to increasingly intensive media usage. We respond to this with various formats of knowledge transfer and reinforcement, which increasingly consider the needs of participants," says Markus Schad, Regional Managing Director Healthcare & Cleanrooms.

The content is stored in a clear and intuitive web-based learning portal, where participants can learn at their own pace and repeat content as often as they like. The portal is available to participants for 6 months after course booking. A personal dashboard provides an overview of courses and individual progress at any time. Learning success is confirmed at the end of the course with a certificate. "The learning portal is designed so that participants can continue where they left off or review specific content – as often as they want. This allows them to set their own training time and learning pace without being constrained by external factors," explains Melanie Jahn, Training Manager at ReinraumAkademie.

“During the pandemic, it became particularly clear what great added value flexible and digital learning offers,” adds Markus Schad. “It’s even better now that our customers can choose whether they want to complete a flexible online training or prefer to book an in-person training at one of our training centers or at their own company. We are everywhere our customers need us.”

Efficiency and transparency also for HR departments

The courses can be conveniently purchased via the webshop www.reinraumschulung-online.de and paid by invoice. This can be done by individual participants or by the HR department. There is also the option to easily equip the entire team with licenses. Especially when there is still training budget available towards the end of the fiscal year, a whole team can be trained quickly and easily. "This offer is particularly interesting for HR departments that want to work 100% GDPR-compliant and efficiently," says Melanie Jahn. Additionally, ReinraumAkademie Online provides HR departments with a dedicated HR reporting tool with role and rights configurations, making it easy to manage courses, import employee data, and generate progress reports.

Currently, ReinraumAkademie Online offers the course "Behavior in the Cleanroom" with a total of 5 modules in German. In the coming months, it will also be available in English, Dutch, and French. A GMP basic training and an advanced GMP course are already in planning.
