The Association of Interest Group Pharmaceutical Construction 3000 (VIP 3000 e.V.) was founded in 1997 in Esslingen and has 33 members.

Representatives from the pharmaceutical industry and academia, as well as specialist planners, equipment suppliers, and vendors, form a "Quality Network" with the following goal:
The association aims to promote all technologies involved in the planning and realization of modern pharmaceutical facilities and related fields, to disseminate new insights and their applications, and to support their practical implementation. This includes pharmaceutical process engineering, building technology, the compliant construction of production buildings, and the broad field of technical equipment qualification.

VIP 3000 seeks to improve the framework conditions of pharmaceutical production. The focus is on: implementing and further developing cleanroom technology solutions, optimizing building structures, using resources efficiently, and ensuring quality assurance.

To achieve this, there is regular exchange of experience among members, especially between suppliers and users. In addition, there are collaborations with universities, scientific associations, and professional organizations. Company visits, symposia, seminars, and workshops complete the offering.

VIP 3000 is also a consortium at the association level with membership serving as a quality seal.
