About the VIP3000
The Competence and Quality Network for Pioneering Know-how in Cleanroom and Pharmaceutical Construction
The now 48 members of the Association of Pharmaceutical Construction Interest Group e. V. are an exciting potpourri of leading companies and research institutions, suppliers, planners, and universities. The association consolidates the experiences and ideas of its members and pursues several goals: the promotion of all planning and realization technologies for modern pharmaceutical facilities and related specialist fields. The dissemination of new findings and support for their practical implementation.
Industry experts in the pharmaceutical industry bring new approaches to the joint discussion, and innovation trends are often set thereby; based on high-quality standards. What moves the industry and what advances it – through regular and practical exchange of experiences, new ideas are continually born. And science is involved.
Looking Back 2015
Twenty years of VIP3000 – a jubilee that the association was able to celebrate last year. The significance of networking has become particularly clear due to the increased number of members. With a lot of personal commitment from individual members and numerous VIP3000 activities, primarily driven by the six-member board, the network continues to expand and reliable partners are regularly brought together. Not only did the member meeting take place in Graz in April, organized and hosted by the two member companies VTU and ZETA, but also the autumn trade conference in Reiskirchen near Weiss Climate Technology.
Of particular value to the association was the Cleanroom Lounge fair in May in Stuttgart. For the second time, a total of 15 member companies gathered in a specially designated area around a dedicated action stage and presented their services and products together under the VIP3000 umbrella. During an attractive program of action stages and joint VIP3000 presentation sessions, members could demonstrate their expertise and competence. The advantage of the shared area at the fair is obvious – for members and visitors alike: whatever question arises regarding pharmaceutical construction; the association knows which specialist from its circle can help. And that person is available as a relevant contact on site. Networking par excellence! And for this reason, the association decided to participate for the first time with a joint booth at the Cleanzone in October in Frankfurt. Thirteen members were on board, which represented a significant share compared to the total of 88 exhibitors.
Plans | Preview 2016
In spring, the 6th edition of the "Experts Profile" for the years 2016/2017 will be published, in which member companies present themselves with a short profile and showcase best practice examples. This reference work is published every two years and includes a wide range of relevant topics that must be considered already in the planning of a cleanroom and pharmaceutical project. Many years of practical experience provide not only technical details but also facts about the latest trends and developments in cleanroom and pharmaceutical construction.
On October 6 and 7, the 8th VIP3000 Symposium will take place at Weiss Climate Technology in Reiskirchen. Under the motto "Pharmacy 4.0," the rather conservative pharmaceutical world will be examined regarding the use of digitalization. To what extent are digital networks already being used profitably in the planning, construction, renovation, and optimization of pharmaceutical facilities? These and many other questions will be at the center of the event, which will feature high-profile speakers from cleanroom and pharmaceutical construction. By the way, the VIP3000 Symposium is not only aimed at association members.
In addition to the renewed participation of many members under the VIP3000 umbrella at the two cleanroom fairs (Lounges in Stuttgart, April 5-7, 2016, and Cleanzone in Frankfurt, November 8-9, 2016), the next board elections will take place at a general meeting this year. It remains to be seen whether the current board, which has existed in this configuration since 2013 and has noticeably brought fresh wind into the association, will continue to exist. Over the past three years, VIP3000 has achieved a member growth of over 30% and has been rewarded with a significant increase in the quantity and quality of events, as well as much positive feedback from participants for its engagement.
