In particular in hospitals special demands are made against the air quality. In the operating room a displacement current with low turbulences is to ensure that above the operating table only few particles and germs from the operation surrounding field get into the central sensitive protected zone.
The risk of an infection can only by this be minimized during the operation. For standard examination according to DIN 1946-4 and sense-same standards such as SWKI guideline 99-3 and GOST R 52539 a degree of protection is therefore defined. This degree of protection sets the particle concentration within the protected zone in relation to the outside concentration. The Topas GmbH Dresden offers the complete equipment package for standard examinations according to DIN 1946-4.
Degrees of protection which can be proven require a high concentration of the test aerosol, in order to be able to measure also in the save area still sufficiently particles. With the amount of air circulating in the operating theatre a necessary particle source strength on the basis of this concentration (particle for each time unit) results. This source strength of the test aerosol must be made available by an aerosol generator - here the well-known Topas aerosol generator ATM 226 is suitable. The aerosol distribution and dilution system ADD 536 from Topas GmbH adds particle-free transportation air to the produced primary aerosol and realizes an even distribution at the six outlets according to the standard. By means of a new integrated dilution the direct connection of a particle counter (clean room particle counter of series LAP 340) without additional instrumentation is possible. At the used aerosol generator thus the prescribed particle source strength can be adjusted and controlled very fast. The especially developed software guides the operator step by step through the individual test sequences and enables a very easy working with the equipment set.
