Webinar: ISO EN 17141 & ISO 14698 Overview

A new ISO / EN standard 17141 – Cleanrooms and associated cleanroom areas – Biocontamination control was finalized in August and came into force in April 2021.

This 30-minute webinar discusses the requirements of the new standard for microbiological monitoring and control and how it harmonizes with the previous standard ISO 14698 Part 1 & 2.

It will specifically address the validation requirements for instruments to meet both standards in a global environment and discuss the aspects that differ between the two.

Mr. Dr. Frank Panofen, PhD, Life Science Division, Product Line Manager Microbials, Particle Measuring Systems

Dr. Panofen holds a diploma in Chemistry from Bielefeld University and a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Osnabrück University. He has extensive experience in applied pharmaceutical microbiology and is the Product Line Manager for Sterility Assurance/Microbiology at Particle Measuring Systems. Frank has been an invited speaker at international conferences, including ECA and PDA, with a strong regulatory background in pharmaceuticals. He is a certified microbiological laboratory manager by ECA.
