Rodriguez now offers the profile rail guides of the BRXH series in an optimized version. The update includes three key points: an expanded lubrication concept, a new sealing system, and higher precision. This makes processes even safer while maintaining system compatibility.

With the adjustments to its profile rail guides BRXH, Rodriguez responds to the increased demands in machinery construction and automation. The fundamental technical data remains unchanged, targeted optimization steps increase process safety and ensure longer service life and reproducible precision.

More lubrication points for uniform supply

The guide carriages now feature additional lubrication points, through which the lubricant is better and more evenly distributed within the ball circulation unit. The systems are still delivered pre-lubricated. When lubricating from above, an adapter ensures targeted distribution within the carriage.

New sealing concept for demanding environments

A central element of the revision is the new sealing system. Standardly, face seal double lip seals and double lip longitudinal seals are used, effectively protecting against particles and contamination. Optional additional variants are available: non-abrasive seal, additional abrasive seal, and metal scrapers.

Higher accuracy becomes standard

The previous normal accuracy class N is eliminated. Instead, class H becomes the new standard. The tolerances for height and width have been reduced by approximately 50 percent compared to the previous N version. Accuracy class P is now only available upon request. The Z2 class in preload is eliminated; Z0, Z1, and Z3 remain available. Specifically, this means: higher repeatability – especially relevant in robotics and automation – and better parallelism, i.e., multiple guides run more smoothly in parallel.

Other design adjustments

Additionally, the ground running surfaces of the carriages have been increased from two to three. For the rails, protective caps made of plastic or optionally brass are available.

Proven properties remain:

– Four ball rows in X arrangement with 45° pressure angle for load capacity in all main directions
– Variants A, B, AL, BL, BS as well as versions with and without flange
– Existing coatings still available
– Metal cover band usable
– Rail lengths up to 3,900 mm
– Interchangeability within a accuracy and preload class
