For almost 20 years, Andreas Nuhn has worked as an engineer in the pharmaceutical industry. Recently, he has become self-employed with his "GMP Consulting Nuhn" in Niederneisen, Rhineland-Palatinate. "This allows me to respond even more intensively to the needs of my clients," said the 47-year-old in an interview with Reinraum-online.

Andreas Nuhn draws his wealth of experience from more than 100 projects in which he has supported companies in implementing local and international GMP requirements. He is responsible for the design and layout of cleanrooms, qualification and validation processes, training employees, preparing audits for authorities, customers, and suppliers, and creating the necessary documentation, also in English upon request. His areas of expertise include aseptic manufacturing as well as handling facilities where biological products such as blood plasma are processed.

Andreas Nuhn has traveled extensively around the world. During his studies, which he completed as a diploma engineer in process engineering, he spent several semesters in France and Norway. The GMP projects he managed took him to China, India, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Russia, and Portugal, among others. During GMP audits, he gained experience working with authorities from various countries, such as the USA, Brazil, Ireland, and of course Germany. "No matter where my clients need support, I come," he promises.

His goal is to accompany clients until they can continue on their own. But not longer. "I am there as a consultant when they cannot do something themselves." Andreas Nuhn summarized his principles on his website www.gmp-nuhn.de: "I strive to always find the tailored solution for my clients. The GMP requirements set the benchmark for me, and I approach it from below. What is necessary must be done – but no more. Because it is easy – and very costly for the client – to do too much out of uncertainty about the specific requirements. Hitting the right point requires a lot of experience and a delicate touch."

The reactions of his satisfied clients show him that he has hit the mark with his move into self-employment.
