Since March 31, 2026, the specialist for feeding technology Köberlein & Seigert has been operating under the name Köberlein Technologies. With the rebranding, the company based in Grabfeld, southern Thuringia, emphasizes its technological orientation more strongly. At the same time, a complementary corporate structure has been established with the sister company Köberlein Solutions, which purposefully expands and consolidates the range of services offered. Customers will continue to have the same contacts and core competencies, while the spectrum of achievable automation solutions grows.

The new name reflects the company's technological focus and makes the emphasis on mechanical engineering and engineering more visible. The Köberlein brand remains as a historically grown foundation. It has represented feeding technology as well as the development and production of the first market-ready step conveyor almost 60 years ago.

The rebranding is accompanied by a new corporate structure. As part of the Daum Group, Köberlein Technologies is integrated into a network of technology-oriented industrial companies and continues to focus on feeding technology and special machine construction. This structure is complemented by the newly founded sister company Köberlein Solutions. Both companies work with a clear division of tasks – feeding technology (Technologies) and automation (Solutions) – and expand the available range of services.

New structure expands technological possibilities

Customers benefit from continuity on one hand and new opportunities on the other. Contacts and existing business relationships remain unchanged. At the same time, projects can now be implemented in a broader technological environment – from individual machines to integrated systems and production lines. The new structure also lays the foundation for incorporating additional technologies such as robotics, image processing, or AI into projects when this makes sense for the specific task.

"Köberlein Solutions combines the competencies of the various technology companies within the Daum Group into a powerful network," explains Jörg Demtröder, Head of Engineering. "Through close collaboration and the pooled expertise of our specialists, we can implement projects more efficiently, leverage technological synergies intentionally, and develop solutions that go far beyond the capabilities of a single company."

Clear division of competencies

Köberlein Technologies continues to focus on the development and manufacturing of feeding technology and machinery. The core competence in the area of step conveyors remains unchanged and is complemented by additional solutions in feeding and handling technology. Köberlein Solutions supplements the portfolio where automation tasks beyond feeding technology are required.

"Köberlein Technologies will in the future stand for feeding technology in its entire range – from singulation and transfer to complete, integrated solutions," emphasizes Managing Director Nils Blondin. "Our focus is on durable, reliable technology, regardless of whether it involves individual components or complex applications along the entire process chain. In recent years, our range of services has expanded significantly: whereas in the past the focus was mainly on step conveyors, today we can combine various technological approaches to solve even demanding tasks. With Köberlein Solutions, we have created the ideal complement, especially when it comes to robotics and networked systems."
