EnviroFALK PharmaWaterSystems - 50 Years of Success Story

For half a century, everything at EnviroFALK PharmaWaterSystems at the Leverkusen location has revolved around water treatment systems for all ultrapure water applications, especially in the pharmaceutical sector. For the past 15 years, the experts have increasingly been serving the market for hydrogen production with their water treatment systems, which requires consistently high-quality ultrapure water for electrolysis systems.

Ulrich Träger, Managing Director of EnviroFALK PharmaWaterSystems, recalls: "My father had the courage 50 years ago to become self-employed with water treatment systems. Under Wilhelm Werner Reinstwassertechnik GmbH, he laid the roots in a small backyard in Cologne. I never thought it would develop like this." He especially thanked his sister Barbara, who, until four years ago, co-managed the company with him.

Since 2018, Werner has been part of EnviroFALK. Together with the former LETZNER Pharma Water Treatment in Hückeswagen, which has also been part of EnviroFALK since 2020, the experts operate under EnviroFALK PharmaWaterSystems in the market.

Eva Bitter, Managing Director of EnviroFALK PharmaWaterSystems. Steffen Kern, the third managing director, adds: "We have a team that delivers top performance. Every success we celebrate is the result of hard work. Without this tireless dedication and professional collaboration, we wouldn’t be where we are today."

The Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce, represented by Bianca Atorf and Ralf Gawlik, congratulated the management and presented the anniversary certificate for 50 years of success story. Other congratulators included the Leverkusen Economic Development Agency, represented by Markus Märtens, and many former colleagues.

With a glass of sparkling wine or Kölsch in hand, the management, guests, and staff toasted this significant milestone.

The prospects for the future are promising. The management is currently planning to expand the Leverkusen site. Through further renovations and extensions, the area is expected to double by 2026, uniting all expertise under one roof.
