To retain highly qualified engineering know-how within the company while simultaneously visibly increasing efficiency, Merkle CAE Solutions GmbH, an expert in engineering multiphysics simulation calculations, and embraceable Technology GmbH, developer of an AI platform for process orchestration, are developing an AI-supported business application specialized in engineering concepts. This would enable companies to achieve a new software dimension in engineering.

Engineering know-how is person-dependent. Not only technical expertise but also experience and the knowledge base regarding already implemented projects. This is to be optimized with Merkle CAE Solutions' novel AI-based Business-Technology. The company is jointly developing a platform with the software developer embraceable Technology, Kaiserslautern, which accesses the engineering knowledge of previously completed projects at Merkle CAE Solutions based on various parameters.

The goal is, in the first step, to simplify administrative tasks such as quotation and order management. Additionally, projects and reporting would be streamlined by quickly finding similar methods or even similar problem statements. Common business applications are not specific enough for engineering. Likewise, conventional search functions do not cover possible questions and parameters. Artificial intelligence functions here like an experienced employee who has all previous projects, their problem statements, methods, as well as administration, in memory and ready without long search times.

The newly developed system operates model-agnostically, meaning it can communicate with all kinds of other applications. No data is transferred for training AI models. All data and information remain fully under the control and sovereignty of Merkle CAE Solutions. Since the company constantly works with highly sensitive and confidential data, this is a fundamental requirement. The system is operated on-premise. Only local and European language models are used. The solution thus meets the highest standards of sovereignty, data protection, and strategic flexibility, and also offers maximum cost efficiency.
