centrotherm clean solutions becomes Pfeiffer Vacuum+Fab Solutions

The Busch Group, one of the world's largest providers of vacuum solutions, announces that its brand centrotherm clean solutions will become part of Pfeiffer Vacuum+Fab Solutions. Starting in September 2025, the exhaust gas cleaning systems previously offered under this brand for the semiconductor industry will be integrated into Pfeiffer's portfolio and marketed under this name, uniting the two members of the global Busch Group.

Cutting-edge solutions from a proven brand

By consolidating both product portfolios under a single, unified brand, customers will in the future be able to source high-quality vacuum solutions for the semiconductor industry and related sectors from a single, trusted supplier.

Within the group, Pfeiffer Vacuum+Fab Solutions is the renowned brand for high and ultra-high vacuum and offers innovative, state-of-the-art solutions for demanding applications in research and development, analytics, industry, and semiconductors. Sami Busch, co-owner and Co-CEO of the Busch Group, explains: “The integration of our product portfolio for the semiconductor industry under our strong and established brand Pfeiffer Vacuum+Fab Solutions further optimizes our product offering. Comprehensive portfolio for the semiconductor market

Busch acquired centrotherm clean solutions in 2023 and integrated its industry-leading expertise in exhaust gas cleaning into its portfolio. The products now integrated into the Pfeiffer brand are primarily used in the semiconductor industry but also, for example, in the production of MEMS, LEDs, solar cells, and flat-panel displays. The offering includes both standardized exhaust gas cleaning systems and custom-made individual systems and environmental technology total solutions.

All 350 employees of centrotherm clean solutions will retain their positions and contracts, ensuring stability for both staff and customers while guaranteeing continuous expertise, seamless service, and uninterrupted availability. The headquarters and manufacturing plant for exhaust gas cleaning systems will remain in Blaubeuren, Baden-Württemberg.
