MBV becomes a sales partner for the first real-time airborne germ detector
With the introduction of Rapid-C+, a real-time airborne microbial particle counter, MBV AG is participating in the distribution of an innovative product that sets new standards in environmental monitoring. The combination of real-time counting with traditional active air sampling is unique worldwide. MBV AG distributes the instrument as an official partner of Plair SA globally, exclusively in the DACH region.
The real-time airborne microbial particle counter Rapid-C+ is equipped with state-of-the-art laser-based light scattering and fluorescence spectroscopy. This allows the instrument to detect viable particles in the air in real time. Simultaneously, samples are continuously collected on sedimentation plates to identify airborne microbes – a revolutionary combination in environmental monitoring. Thanks to its unique design, the Rapid-C+ enables secure monitoring of critical areas and significantly reduces the risk of manual interventions. This fully meets the high requirements of EU GMP Annex 1 in the field of airborne microbial collection.
MBV AG is the worldwide distribution partner for Rapid-C+ and exclusively distributes the real-time airborne microbial detector in the DACH region. Plair SA specializes in the development and manufacturing of innovative instruments for microbiological real-time air monitoring. The collaboration began in spring 2020 when the startup caught the interest of MBV AG's CEO, Ronny Zingre. He recognized the potential of Plair SA's instruments and supported the young company as a member of the board of directors. "Our decades of experience in airborne microbial collection and the trust placed in us in the market complement the innovative character of Plair SA perfectly. The distribution partnership is the result of successful collaboration, and we look forward to a continued joint future," says Ronny Zingre.
The sales launch for Rapid-C+ is scheduled for the end of 2024. MBV is now looking forward to contact inquiries for personal live or online demonstrations.
