MARCH 2009 IS GMP / CONTAMINATION CONTROL MONTH IN EUROPE

The CleanRooms Group of PennWell Publishing (Nashua, NH) and Concept Heidelberg (Heidelberg, Germany) have announced a new collaboration agreement to jointly host and promote their highly-successful contamination control/GMP conferences and exhibitions in Germany in 2009. The agreement encompasses three major events – The Pharma Kongress (March 3-4, Mannheim, Germany), and the co-located Annex 1 Conference (March 23) and CleanRooms Europe Conference & Exhibition (March 24-26) both in Stuttgart,
Germany. All three events feature major educational emphasis on aseptic, sterile and GMP manufacturing technologies for the life sciences.

Concept Heidelberg's Pharma Kongress is Germany's premier forum on pharmaceutical technology and GMP compliance, while the European Compliance Academy (ECA)-sponsored Revision of Annex 1 EU GMP Guide “Manufacture of sterile medicinal products" Conference will specifically address new critical changes made to one of the most important GMP guidelines for the industry. Finally, since launching in 1998, CleanRooms Europe has been the largest international event linking contamination control, infection control, and personnel-protection production and solution providers with target buyers and specifiers. The 2008 event held at the state-of-the-art Neue Messe Stuttgart set record attendance with more than 2,600 participants from 62 countries.
