Reliable validating of pure areas
A crucial condition for a reliable and economic acceptance or
validating of clean-spacetechnical plants is the correct aerosol
equipment. Final filters for pure areas are to be tested after EN 1822
with a test aerosol, whose maximum of the particle distribution sucked
in. MP HP range (Most penetration Particle Size range) to lie is.
Natural outside air can accept after the boy distribution within the
MP HP range concentrations to 10 to the power of 9 per m³. The
particle concentration and the particle size of outside air are
different at different places, and they are likewise different at the
same place at different times. Therefore for the fast and safe
acceptance test by pure areas highly concentrated test aerosols are
used. The concentrations of these test aerosols are with approx.. 10
to the power of 11 to 10 to the power of 14 per m³. The particle
concentrations in the pure area are with approx.. 10 to 10 to the
power of 5 per m³.Optical particle counters (OPC) are to measure the few events in the
pure area fast and reliably. OPCs have therefore a large suction flow
rate, z. B. 28.3 l/min.. The maximum measurable particle concentration
of a "pure space counter" is with approx.. 10 to the power of 6 per
ft³ and/or. 35 x 10 to the power of 6 per m³. For this reason for the
measurement of outside air and for the characterisation by test
aerosols so-called aerosol spectrometers are inserted, which can
measure particle concentrations to 10 to the power of 11 per m³
undiluted. At these numerical examples it becomes clear that during
the concentration regulation of the raw gas with so-called pure space
counters dilution systems must be used. The aerosol generators of the
company Palas® supply the desired narrow particle size spectrum and
get thus not unnecessarily the filters dirty which can be tested. The
Palas® Aerosolgeneratoren is clearly characterized for the different
adjusting parameters. They are characterised by a high dosing Konstanz and a reproducible
attitude. Also the Palas® Verduennungssysteme is characterised by the
clear characterisation. For this reason they are also in the VDI
recommendation 3491 Bl. 16 described. The Palas® Verduennungssysteme
can be cascaded, whereby simply and reliably dilution factors can be
realized from 10 to 100,000. With cascading locally a safe function
test of the entire aerosol equipment can be accomplished. The Palas®
Aerosolspektrometer possesses a clear calibration curve by the white
source of light and the 90° scattered light detection and makes
therefore measurements possible with high resolution and very good
classifying accuracy. The Palas products worked satisfactorily in the
world-wide employment. Sold numbers of items: Aerosol generators:
