Flexible in design, versatile in use
SPETEC® cleanroom cells force particle concentration to its knees
In almost all industries, the requirements for cleanliness in the production and processing process have increased dramatically. The use of cleanroom technology is often necessary, for example in the manufacturing, packaging, or storage of dust-sensitive mechanical, optical, and electronic components. Numerous chemical, pharmaceutical, microelectronic, or medical technology sectors even require a particle-free environment.
For this purpose, Spetec GmbH offers three modular cleanroom concepts that open up all possibilities for the user – whether it is a small, cost-effective solution for 3 m² or a high-quality cleanroom of 350 m² – all without construction work.
A SPETEC® cleanroom cell initially consists of a filter unit, the Laminar Flow Module, which uses H14 filters with an efficiency of 99.995% to reduce the particle concentration in the air from around 15 million/m³ to about 1,500 particles within the unit. This filter unit directs the air in a laminar flow along with particles towards the floor, so that particle-free air is achieved after a short period.
The actual cell is built around the filter unit and is enclosed by a strip curtain or side panels made of aluminum composite panels and acrylic or composite glass, creating a sealed unit. Additionally, other features such as electric sliding doors, material or personnel lock systems are possible, so that any exchange with contaminated outside air can be avoided. Depending on the number of laminar flow modules, cleanroom classes ISO 5 to ISO 8 can be achieved. Furthermore, classes A to D according to GMP can be implemented.
The SPETEC® cleanroom modules can be combined arbitrarily and thus fulfill a wide variety of requirements. They are flexible in design and adaptable in use.
