Companies from all branches of industry are faced with the challenge of meeting new and existing tasks in industrial component cleaning with improved cost efficiency and in a stable manner. At the same time, resource consumption and carbon footprint must be significantly reduced. Important contributions to this reduction can be made by innovations and further developments as well as expertise about trends in cleaning technology. This information will be provided by over 165 exhibitors and the supporting program of the 21st parts2clean from October 7 to 9, 2025 at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center in Germany.

New and modified products, innovative production technologies and materials, higher demands on the cost efficiency, stability, and sustainability of processes, as well as the digitalization of production – the changes in many areas of industry are also affecting industrial parts and surface cleaning. "With the world's most comprehensive and up-to-date range of industrial cleaning technology, parts2clean will offer solutions, impulses, and services for cost-efficient, reliable, and resource-saving cleaning processes ranging from deburring and degreasing to classic cleaning and high-purity applications," reports Ramtin Randjbar-Moshtaghin, Project Director at Deutsche Messe AG. "This makes it the world's most effective information and procurement platform for companies to adapt all areas of industrial parts and surface cleaning to the tighter requirements." This statement is underpinned by the fact that over 165 exhibitors from 16 countries will be presenting products and services at the 21st edition of the leading international trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning. This corresponds to growth of around ten percent compared to the event in 2023.

From new systems, processes, and media to AI for cleaning processes

"All technology and market leaders from the various segments of cleaning technology will be represented. Also, many exhibitors will be presenting their new and further developments to the international trade public for the first time at parts2clean," says Ramtin Randjbar-Moshtaghin. These include cleaning systems that are designed to meet specific industry and application requirements, as well as new and optimized process technologies that ensure the required levels of cleanliness with short cycle times and reduced energy consumption. In addition, a new development for partial cleaning with water-based media has been launched. Innovative sensor and monitoring solutions – some of which use AI – make it possible to control cleaning, rinsing, and drying processes in line with the level of contamination. New software solutions, including those for intelligent pump control and efficient energy management, also help to save energy. New developments will also be presented for the continuous recording and documentation of relevant process parameters, which is particularly important for highly exacting cleanliness requirements. In the area of media, the focus is on cleaning and dephosphating systems that work effectively at lower temperatures, thereby noticeably reducing energy consumption. When it comes to dry cleaning with CO2snow, plasma and lasers, for example, the relevant suppliers are coming up with new and enhanced solutions. The same goes for exhibitors in the areas of media preparation, cleaning containers, and cleanliness control. Another trend that runs through many exhibition segments is the automation and integration of cleaning processes in production lines. New solutions and services will also be on show in the field of cleanliness-adapted production environments.

A sparkling supporting program – first-class knowledge transfer

The exhibitors' presentations across technology and industry boundaries will be complemented by a sophisticated and exciting supporting program. "It will provide visitors with comprehensive information on current topics in component cleaning, various trends in high-tech and growth industries, and ways to improve sustainability, the circular economy and their carbon footprint," adds Ramtin Randjbar-Moshtaghin. One of the highlights of this year's supporting program will certainly be the FiT2clean Awards on the third day of the trade fair. This is now the 4th edition of these awards, and the prize fund stands at €10,000.

The special show entitled "Process Chain Technical Cleanliness", organized jointly with the CEC (Cleaning Excellence Center), will show ways of achieving the required component cleanliness in line with requirements and in a sustainable manner – including the accompanying quality assurance using innovative technologies – on all three days of the trade fair.

One of the highlights of the bilingual p2c.EXPERTFORUM will be the keynote speech by Anna Wilhelm, consultant and sustainability auditor for matters relating to the Institute of German Public Accountants (IDW) at Rödl & Partner GmbH. The presentation will kick off the session on sustainability and the circular economy, and will address the situation between regulation, responsibility, and opportunity. Other topics to be covered in this block of lectures will include wastewater management, sustainability in the high-purity process chain, and energy-optimized component drying. The presentations by blue-chip experts from the industrial, research, and science communities are also destined to be crowd-pullers, with topics including "Fundamentals of industrial cleaning processes", "Monitoring and controlling cleaning processes", "High purity – applications, challenges and solutions", "Testing and analyzing cleaned surfaces", and "Combined or advanced processes and procedures". Simultaneous interpreting will be provided for all the presentations (German <-> English). Participation in the parts2clean expert forum is free of charge for trade fair visitors.
