Camfil publishes Sustainability Report 2024

Camfil, a leading manufacturer of solutions in the field of clean air, has published its sustainability report for 2024. The report documents significant progress in the areas of climate protection and internationally responsible corporate governance. It emphasizes the company's comprehensive commitment to making clean air accessible, reducing its CO₂ footprint, and supporting customers in achieving their own sustainability goals.

- Successful implementation of the first double materiality analysis, identifying ecological and social priorities along the entire value chain in accordance with the EU Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
- Over 55% of delivered comfort filters with Eurovent classification received energy efficiency classes A or A+, contributing to improved energy efficiency for customers.
- Commissioning of the world's largest service center for the regeneration of molecular and activated carbon filters in Chiayi, Taiwan – a significant step forward for sustainable filtration in the semiconductor industry.
- Major investments in renewable energy, including the installation of solar panels in the UK and Malaysia, which will cover 30–50% of local electricity needs in the future.
- Reduction of total waste generation by 8% compared to 2023, with 67% of waste not requiring disposal in landfills.

While Camfil continues to uphold its high sustainability standards, the 2024 report also highlights a move toward more cross-sector collaboration, greater data transparency, and increased preparation for new regulatory requirements. These strategic focuses are crucial to meet both internal targets and the rising expectations of stakeholders and international frameworks such as the CSRD.

Additionally, Camfil has significantly expanded its training programs in the areas of anti-corruption, trade compliance, and business ethics. At the same time, supplier responsibility has been strengthened through revised codes of conduct and improved procurement policies.
