About the iF Design Award
Since 1954, the iF Design Award has stood as a globally recognized trademark for outstanding design. It is one of the most important design awards worldwide and honors exceptional achievements in product, communication, service, and UX/UI design.
With nearly 11,000 entries from 66 countries, the iF DESIGN AWARD 2025 once again demonstrates its position as one of the most prestigious design competitions worldwide. In three intensive and successful days in Hamburg, 131 jurors from 23 countries came together to select the best and most outstanding designs. The jury, following strict selection criteria, praised the overall high quality of all submissions and emphasized the growing focus on sustainability.
The iF DESIGN AWARD is supported by the non-profit iF Design Foundation, which highlights the global importance of design, its societal relevance, and influence. Its goal is to promote innovations for a better future. One of the key innovations is the increased weighting of sustainability as one of the five evaluation criteria in the hybrid jury process. To ensure this, the Sustainability Working Group was established, supporting all jurors on questions related to sustainability and ensuring fair evaluation.
