With the new SHP9000 stainless steel Panel PC, ADS-TEC Industrial IT presents an HMI solution that precisely meets these requirements—and sets new standards in ergonomics, design, and technical durability. The device combines outstanding design with high functionality and has already been awarded the German Design Award 2025 in the category Excellent Product Design – Human Machine Interface, as well as the Reader's Choice Product of the Year by Industrial Production.

Hygienic design meets highest functionality

The SHP9000 sets new standards in hygiene: Available in two sizes (18.5" and 23.8" Full HD), it features razor-sharp display, tempered glass with shatter protection film, and maximum durability – ensuring full control even in the most demanding environments.

The fully sealed stainless steel housing (V4A) is designed without joints or screws. Combined with protection class IP69, the Panel PC is dust-tight, waterproof, and resistant to common cleaning agents, alkalis, and acids. This makes the SHP9000 ideally suited for use in hygiene-critical and cleanroom environments. Cleaning is residue-free and time-saving—an obvious advantage during short cleaning cycles and demanding processes.

The ergonomic swivel-tilt function of the arm mount also allows tool-free adjustment, ensuring a comfortable workspace—a key factor for ergonomic control concepts in machine operation.

Powerful technology for demanding applications

Equipped with Intel® processors of the 13th generation "Raptor Lake" (5 or 10 cores) and fanless passive cooling, the SHP9000 offers a powerful and long-term available platform for industrial applications. A key advantage: the hardware platform is designed for a ten-year availability. Supplemented by regular CPU updates, the SHP9000 is ideal for long-term investment security.

Numerous interface options, as well as optionally integrated wireless technologies such as WLAN, Bluetooth, and RFID, provide maximum flexibility for connecting to machines, peripherals, or controls. Thanks to the integrated Big-LinX® Edge Client, secure remote maintenance and data connection are possible directly—without additional gateways. This makes the SHP9000 a future-proof interface between humans, machines, and digital infrastructure.

Flexible adapters and accessories for maximum integration

The SHP9000 also impresses with its thoughtful functionality in terms of mounting and expandability: a suitable adapter concept is available for every installation situation.

Thanks to innovative mounting options, such as the VESA adapter with hygienic silicone cable entry or the swivel-tilt adapter for pipe mounting from above or below, flexible integration into existing production lines and machines is guaranteed. The holder for a multi-screen setup complements the mounting portfolio to ensure installation in various environments.

Similarly modular is the accessory and extension concept: via a robust bayonet connection, accessories designed specifically for hygiene and thorough cleaning can be attached. These include an additional button module for hardware buttons (e.g., for emergency stop), a keyboard tray, a scanner holder, or an externally screwed USB port—all can be installed tool-free.

This allows the SHP9000 to be perfectly adapted to individual workflows and industry-specific requirements—without complex modifications or additional installations.
