"Systems and Concepts of Cleanroom Technology"

At the Hermann Rietschel Institute of TU Berlin, the third edition of the cleanroom technical training course "Systems and Concepts of Cleanroom Technology" will take place from September 17 to 19 of this year, under the auspices of BTGA, FGK, VIP3000, DRRI, and ISPE D/A/CH.

The special feature of this training is the knowledge transfer primarily through practical experiments: In our in-house research cleanrooms of various protection classes, equipped with extensive measurement technology, experimental tests are conducted, and the airflow in the room is visualized.

Although the theoretical fundamentals specific to cleanrooms are well known from literature, the actual processes in the cleanroom often differ significantly. This discrepancy between theory and practice is illustrated through experimental exercises and solution proposals are presented. The following topics are covered in the three-day training:

- Flow patterns / Contamination spread,
- Aerosol physics / Filters, and
- Building automation / Pressure maintenance.

The event is aimed at cleanroom managers, department heads, plant engineers, and users from all areas of cleanroom technology, as well as manufacturers of cleanroom components.
