After sterilAir AG received certification according to DIN/EN ISO 9001:2008 in 2009 and successfully re-audited this certification, the company from Weinfelden, Switzerland, was able to meet the globally recognized requirements of the environmental management standard ISO 14001 in July of this year. With this certification for operational environmental management, the UVC disinfection expert complies with all international standards in the field of environmental management, including environmental performance assessments, key figures, or life cycle assessments, setting it clearly apart from its competitors.

According to TÜV Rheinland, companies with a certified environmental management system can identify weaknesses in their environmental management and thus create the basis for a continuous and verifiable improvement process. By considering environmental aspects throughout the lifecycle—such as in product development, delivery, or end-of-life treatment—environmental risks are reduced, natural resources are conserved, and environmental performance is sustainably improved.
