Cleanrooms impose high demands on employees. They must wear protective clothing and move slowly, are not allowed to talk much, not eat, not drink, chew gum, and ideally are non-smokers. Beards, makeup, jewelry, skin diseases, and open hair are also taboo. So how do you convey to your employees that their behavior influences the environmental conditions, process safety, and product quality in the cleanroom? And how do you impart this knowledge so that it is not forgotten after 14 days?

One possibility is to develop training programs based on standardized procedures. The prerequisite for this is sufficient capacity of skilled trainers. Through repeated sessions at regular intervals, training on hygiene, behavior, and manufacturing processes can always be conducted with the same quality.

Another option is to qualify employees through professional knowledge providers. This can be especially useful when the saying applies: "the prophet is not appreciated in his own land." Users often underestimate the restrictive effects when training content is delivered solely by managers through their position or personality. These situations are often influenced by conflicts, workload, and interpersonal disruptions.

Serious talent development is successful when measures are properly documented, controlled, and analyzed. The insights gained provide a solid basis for decisions regarding content, duration, and measures. And better results.
