Increase in efficiency through the integration of digitalization into a comprehensive factory concept

IE Plast will present its factory concept specifically tailored for the plastics industry at Fakuma from October 16 to 20, 2018, in Friedrichshafen. As a specialist in industrial construction, IE Plast focuses on digitalization in the planning of industrial buildings to incorporate not only the material and goods flow but also the information flow into the planning of industrial structures and their manufacturing processes. At the trade fair, IE Plast will demonstrate at booth 3011 in Hall A3 what an ideal factory for the plastics processing industry looks like.

An efficient production requires that manufacturing processes, building technology, and architecture are coordinated from the outset. The building must be designed accordingly. The master plan defines, in addition to material and personnel flow, the information flow along the entire value chain.
