Fresh wind at Camfil
Carsten Groth is the new Head of Sales and Marketing
He wants to ensure even more movement and direct customer benefits, sharpen and focus the interplay between sales and marketing: Carsten Groth is the new Head of Sales and Marketing at Camfil GmbH responsible for the Filter Sales division. The APC and Power Systems divisions continue to operate independently. Since April 1st, the industrial engineer has taken on responsibility for the nationwide field service, internal sales, and marketing departments. After many years of sales experience, he was mainly motivated by "the competence and adaptability of the organization with a strong Camfil values culture." Having worked for the company from 2006 to 2012, Carsten Groth aims to contribute specifically to the implementation of customer wishes and market requirements, as well as the further development of products and air filtration solutions.
Germany as an important market in focus
Carsten Groth is responsible for leading the sales team. Together with him, three other new colleagues started in external sales: Adis Odobasic, Andreas Klose, and Bekim Shabani. Adis Odobasic, previously involved in international sales, now handles air filter consulting in the postal code areas 40 - 45 with Dusseldorf at Camfil. Andreas Klose, who was last active in sales of industrial dust collection systems as well as oil and emulsion separators, supports the Camfil external sales team in postal code areas 26 - 28 and 49, covering the Bremen metropolitan area. In the Munich metropolitan area – postal code areas 80 - 85 – Bekim Shabani will assist the sales colleagues with his extensive experience from the facility management sector.
To ensure optimized production processes and products, Ulrich Overwin took over the management of production in mid-April and is thus responsible for all production processes. Overwin comes from an international manufacturer of fueling and measurement systems, where he served as Director of Operations & Production.
Flexibility, short decision-making paths, quick implementation – that’s what makes Camfil stand out and allows the Reinbold company to score sustainably: "Camfil is very well positioned with its product range. Now I want to focus more on sales and marketing, contribute significantly, and make a difference," sets Carsten Groth the direction. With suitable structures, processes, and strategies, he aims to deploy and optimize the organization’s resources in the market to best meet the needs of customers and partners. "The employees of the Camfil sales team have broad technical knowledge; now it’s about translating that into direct customer benefits."
Successfully launching new products
"The optimal interplay of sales and marketing is at the top of the agenda, as are the upcoming innovations that we at Camfil are very excited about," says Carsten Groth. These include, alongside the product launch of the new high-temperature filter 'Absolute Pyro D,' other innovations in the particle filter sector such as the next generation of HEPA filters with the Absolute V series, as well as exciting and important topics related to the segments Pharma, Food & Beverage, and Molecular Filtration. "There are many topics and, above all, Camfil solutions that our customers and the market need," concludes Carsten Groth, who actively supports and accompanies product and market launches.
