- Expanded range of plastics and polymer compounds, including for TSG foam casting and production with high-performance polymers such as PEEK
- Six decades of high-quality technical solutions and craftsmanship in tool and mold making and small-series production
- Over 3,500 tools realized in 60 years

Formzeug GmbH offers its customers over 400 plastics and polymer compounds for industrial applications. The spectrum ranges from standard materials to specialized solutions such as TSG foam casting and high-performance polymers like PEEK. The company, which celebrated its 60th anniversary at the end of 2025, enjoys a reputation across industries for precision, reliability, and craftsmanship excellence in tool and mold making as well as plastics processing. Formzeug develops and manufactures high-quality injection molding tools as well as plastic parts for the automotive industry and many other sectors, from the initial idea to small-series production.

Over 400 plastics and polymer compounds, including for TSG foam casting and production with high-performance polymers like PEEK

"We supply the right material to ensure that every plastic product meets the desired requirements," explains Markus Kremers, Managing Director of Formzeug GmbH. "We rely on regranulates, work energy-efficiently, and advise our customers on strength, flame retardancy, UV stability, media resistance, and cost-effectiveness." The range now includes over 400 plastics and polymer compounds, from standard materials such as ABS plastic, polyamides (PA6, PA6.6 GF30), polycarbonate (PC), or polypropylene (PP), to specialized applications like TSG foam casting and high-performance polymers such as PEEK. "In injection molding, we produce parts from 1 to 4,500 grams on energy-efficient injection molding machines for the automotive industry, machinery and plant engineering, electrical engineering, as well as chemical and medical technology. We produce simple functional parts as well as complex assemblies," says Kremers. Additionally, Formzeug manufactures innovative plastic cable holders that ensure order and safety in industrial and commercial applications.

60 years of precision and continuous progress

"Our 60th anniversary at the end of 2025 was a milestone and at the same time our foundation for the future. The six decades stand for technical top solutions, craftsmanship precision, and continuous progress. What has never changed is our claim: We find the best solution for our customers. Reliable, honest, and on equal footing," says Kremers. What began as a classic toolmaking company has developed into a powerful full-service provider for demanding plastic solutions. Today, Formzeug accompanies its customers through the entire development and production process of plastics processing. The range of services includes project support, process development, tool and mold making, as well as series production of plastic parts via injection molding and product finishing. "We meet the highest quality and environmental standards and are certified according to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001. Sustainability is important to us. For example, Tool No. 2 out of over 3,500 manufactured tools is still in use today. Modern measurement technology, structured testing procedures, and an experienced quality assurance team guarantee consistently high product quality," emphasizes Kremers.

People make the difference

"Our customers not only appreciate our technical expertise and punctual deliveries but especially the direct contact with our employees. Because it is the people who make the difference, not machines or certificates. We will maintain this closeness," says Kremers. Today, around 130 employees work hand in hand in Wegberg, including toolmakers, plastics technicians, engineers, designers, and young talents. Experience and fresh ideas shape the corporate culture as much as the partnership approach with customers and suppliers. With investments in modern technologies, sustainable production, and digital processes, the company aims to further strengthen its competitiveness. Additionally, the company plans to achieve TISAX certification in 2026.
