Construction of a cleanroom laboratory for in-house manufacturing of medicinal products according to AMG §13 paragraph 2b

CuraFaktur in Heilbronn offers a solution for all doctors, pharmacists, and authorized persons in the medical field who wish to manufacture pharmaceuticals themselves but do not have the necessary clean rooms, manufacturing equipment, and the appropriate conditions. Weiss Klimatechnik GmbH is involved in this uniquely structured project as both planner and supplier.

The production of sterile pharmaceuticals requires an environment that can only be provided by clean rooms. These can be rented from CuraFaktur starting at the end of 2015. In the laboratories of CuraFaktur, doctors will be able to produce individualized and optimally tailored medications for patients, matching specific therapy concepts and meeting the highest quality standards.

Examples include the ability to produce tissue and organ extracts, infusion mixtures (e.g., high-dose vitamin C), amino acid blends, phyto-extracts, homeopathic remedies, and much more.

After Weiss Klimatechnik served as the planner for the clean room in the overall project, CuraFaktur also decided to engage Weiss Klimatechnik as the supplier for the clean room after market research.

A laboratory space of 335 m² will be created for production in GMP classes A to D. Additionally, rooms for administration, logistics, and storage will be included.

Weiss Klimatechnik supplies the clean room with an air handling system, wall and ceiling systems, cooling systems, as well as measurement, control, and regulation systems, including electrical wiring.

Furthermore, Weiss Pharmatechnik (formerly Weiss GWE and BDK) supplies numerous custom-designed workbenches according to customer specifications.

The completion of the building and the handover of the clean room to the customer are planned for the end of September 2015. The shell construction has already been completed, and interior work has begun.
