Dr. Christian Lorenz, Managing Director of Lorenz Consult ZT GmbH, was elected to the board at the most recent general meeting of the association Interest Group Pharmabau 3000 e. V. (VIP3000). As the new secretary, he strengthens the seven-member leadership team of the renowned industry network.

Since 2015, Lorenz Consult has been a member of VIP3000. This step of joining was taken to deepen the network and the exchange of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in which Lorenz Consult has been active since 2003.

With his election as secretary, Christian Lorenz will not only undertake protocol-related tasks but also actively contribute to structuring the processes within the board and the association, intensify communication among members, and in the future, connect projects and working groups more strongly with a focus on innovation and sustainability. "Since several Austrian companies are members of VIP3000, it is especially important to me, as the Austrian representative on the board, to promote the exchange and network of Austrian companies. Expanding collaborations with Austrian associations, such as the Austrian Cleanroom Society, is also on my agenda," describes Christian Lorenz his goal for his new board activity.

Christian Lorenz studied Industrial Engineering for Mechanical Engineering at Graz University of Technology and previously worked as a project manager at Magna International and as a management consultant. For many years, he has successfully led Lorenz Consult ZT GmbH, an interdisciplinary civil engineering firm with over 60 employees. The company offers all construction-specific planning and supervision services in the areas of healthcare facilities, cleanrooms for pharmaceuticals, food, and electronics, industrial and steel construction based on BIM-based planning technology.

For over three decades, VIP3000 has positioned itself as a quality network that connects leading companies and research institutions, suppliers, planners, and universities into a competence network for forward-looking know-how in cleanroom and pharmaceutical construction. Under the leadership of a elected seven-member board, existing and new technologies for planning and implementing pharmaceutical facilities are promoted. The goal is to practically disseminate and implement the latest findings in process engineering, building technology, and construction of production buildings.

The 68 members benefit from high-level experience exchange, technical lectures and symposia, an expert pool, and various working groups. VIP3000 thus provides the platform where innovations and best practices are discussed and applied. VIP3000 members exclusively carry a quality seal, committing them to products and services of the highest quality. The aim of VIP3000 for pharmaceuticals and industry is to secure and sustainably expand the quality of pharmaceutical production in the long term.
