Again awarded with the Axia Best Managed Companies Award

For the second consecutive time, Piepenbrock has been awarded the Axia Best Managed Companies Award. The prize is awarded annually by Deloitte, WirtschaftsWoche, Credit Suisse, and the Federation of German Industries and is a seal of quality for excellently managed medium-sized companies.

The requirements are high: to ultimately be among the winners, companies undergo a multi-stage selection process. In addition to CEO interviews, extensive application documents must be submitted before a panel of experts selects the best companies. Applicants must convince in four core areas: strategy, productivity and innovation, culture and commitment, as well as finance and governance. Piepenbrock was successful again this year, just as in 2013 and 2019. "Despite our long-standing, over 100-year company history, we have remained young in our actions. This is reflected, among other things, in our dynamism, innovative strength, and short decision-making paths," emphasizes Olaf Piepenbrock, Managing Partner, highlighting the strengths of his company.

Sustainable and forward-looking

The award is designed as recognition of excellent corporate performance – the winners also serve as role models. "As one of the prize winners, Piepenbrock again impresses with its first-class corporate management – through high innovation capacity, a strategy based on long-term thinking, and strong governance structures. Piepenbrock is thus not only a benchmark for excellently managed medium-sized companies but also symbolizes the future of the business location Germany," emphasizes Lutz Meyer, Partner and Head of the SME Program at Deloitte. The building service provider is very pleased about the repeated recognition. "We are very honored to receive this award for the second time in a row," emphasizes Olaf Piepenbrock.
