A year of progress at Rodriguez

The year 2024 brought many new developments at Rodriguez: The new production hall took shape, innovative products from linear technology expanded the portfolio, and the Rodriguez team was strengthened by new colleagues.

At the beginning of the review, there should be a look ahead: In January 2025, Rodriguez will celebrate the new year with employees in the completed hall – finally more space for in-house manufacturing and more efficient processes. Managing Partner Gunther Schulz is pleased: "Thanks to the investment in the new production hall, the company can continue to offer the flexibility and quality that set it apart from its competitors." The move will take place in mid-January, accompanied by further digitization steps such as screens in manufacturing and a future-proof ERP system.

Highlights of the past year included new products such as miniature profile rail guides with a novel ball retention system, which were presented at the Hannover Messe and the AMB. Also well-established items from the precision bearing and linear technology range, as well as innovative value-added products, received great interest.

Internally, there were also advances. The team was further strengthened with the hiring of new colleagues. Managers from production optimized processes in a lean management workshop, while sporting events like the company run, health day, and summer barbecue promoted team spirit and well-being.

Rodriguez also demonstrated responsibility for the people in the region and again supported the Eschweiler Tafel in 2024 with a food donation, and once again refrained from giving Christmas gifts to customers and suppliers. Instead, the company donated to the Aachen Animal Shelter, which is dedicated to caring for and rehoming dogs, cats, and other four-legged animals. The Breakfast for Kids initiative was also supported. The non-profit organization aims to provide as many children as possible with a healthy snack every day. The Agnesheim Stolberg, an institution of public youth welfare, also received a donation.
