A lock system concept for GMP pharmacies
The CleanRoomNet network presents for the first time an illustrated "sluice concept" for GMP pharmacies.
Until now, there has been no lock concept that provides a comprehensive insight into construction, cladding, cleaning, furnishing, and monitoring. To help navigate the jungle of regulations, directives, and guidelines, cleanroom experts from the CleanRoomNet network have designed an illustrated lock concept that can serve as a guideline for GMP pharmacies.
Special requirements apply to the production of sterile products to minimize the risk of contamination with microorganisms, particles, and pyrogens. A well-thought-out lock concept is therefore always an integral part of an optimized cleanroom design.
In an illustrated form, lock procedures for core and service personnel are clearly depicted. The presented clothing concept, the instructions for furnishing and monitoring, as well as cleanroom cleaning, are important indicators for the proper operation of cleanrooms in GMP pharmacies.
Much depends on the expertise, training, and behavior of the personnel. The lock concept provides important impulses and support for implementing the process workflows.
The illustrated lock concept is available:
1. From June 3rd to 5th at Lounges 2014 in Stuttgart, at the booths of the members of CleanRoomNet
