Cleanroom Laundry Bardusch

The bardusch branch in Werder (Havel), specialized in the preparation of cleanroom textiles for highly sensitive areas, celebrates its 20th anniversary. For two decades, bardusch has been offering professional textile management from here for eastern and northern Germany and has established itself as a reliable service partner, especially for the pharmaceutical and optical industries. Werder is one of four bardusch locations in Germany in this sensitive segment.

Twenty years ago, bardusch opened its first cleanroom laundry in Germany. In October 2004, the textile service provider took over the location in Werder (Havel) from the Gesellschaft für Reinraumsysteme (GRS) and modernized it extensively in the following years. In 2017 and 2018, a new hall was built to meet the increasing customer demand for particle- and germ-free cleanroom clothing. Today, around 40 employees work in the laundry, processing up to 550 tons of cleanroom textiles annually for companies in the pharmaceutical and optical industries. In these highly technical fields, hygiene as well as the protection of products from environmental influences are of great importance. The cleanroom textiles and additional items such as glasses, shoes, socks, and wiping cloths must be free of germs and particles.

Continuous process optimization increases efficiency

The history of bardusch is characterized by innovation and sustainable action. "We continuously work on optimizing our processes and making our service future-proof for our customers. With resource-efficient technologies such as heat recovery and an advanced machinery park, we not only increase our efficiency but also operate as environmentally friendly as possible," says Thomas Walz, Managing Director of Cleanroom at the bardusch Group.
