Brief description:

The determination of measurement uncertainty in measurement processes is the fundamental prerequisite for the comparability of measurement results and enhances their acceptance. In this seminar, we provide you with an overview of the current requirements of various guidelines and standards on measurement uncertainty analysis according to the "Guide to the expression of uncertainty in measurement" (GUM), as well as tips and instructions for implementation or realization. Through practical exercises with real-world examples, you will deepen your knowledge of determining realistic measurement uncertainties and learn to independently calculate and evaluate measurement uncertainty budgets.
