Per questo motivo, igus ha ampliato la sua gamma di cavi a catena per robot con due cavi ibridi PUR - CFSPECIAL.792.015 e CFSPECIAL.792.016. I nuovi cavi chainflex sono altamente flessibili e progettati per l'uso con robot Fanuc.

Specifically for demanding robot applications, igus offers users a variety of motion plastics: including multi-axis energy guiding systems for cable protection or cables for the seventh axis on ABB and KUKA robots. The unique igus bundle twisting construction principle of these cables for long energy chain travel paths successfully prevents corkscrews and other failures in production lines. Therefore, igus has now expanded its range of cables for the seventh axis with two PUR hybrid cables for Fanuc robots. The specially designed cables are developed and tested for high-dynamic applications in production plants with long travel distances. Especially on long stretches along the seventh linear axis, it is essential that cables do not show failures due to corkscrews. The new PUR hybrid cables CFSPECIAL.792.015 and CFSPECIAL.792.016 meet the electrical requirements of Fanuc robots and additionally fulfill the high mechanical demands for high-dynamic applications in long, sliding travel paths of manufacturing plants.

New hybrid cables for robots: tested and with warranty

The new chainflex special cables for Fanuc robots are shielded and feature a wear-resistant PUR outer jacket. The cables are particularly notch-resistant, flame-retardant, and halogen-free. The special cables are also resistant to oil and coolant, as well as hydrolysis and microbes. Like all igus cables, these chainflex cables have been tested in the company's own 2,750-square-meter testing laboratory under real environmental conditions. Therefore, igus, as the only provider on the market, can guarantee a 36-month warranty on its cables.
