Ziehl-Abegg is a best-managed company

The Künzelsau industrial company Ziehl-Abegg has been awarded the "Best Managed Companies Award". The Best Managed Companies program is a competition and quality seal for successful medium-sized companies. The vision: building a national and global ecosystem of excellently managed medium-sized enterprises. Best Managed Companies was initiated by Deloitte and is present in more than 45 countries. Deloitte is a global management and strategy consulting firm as well as an auditing company.

"The award emphasizes that we act with a future-oriented approach and have sustainable corporate management," says CEO Dr. Marc Wucherer. "Ziehl-Abegg is an excellent example of a Best Managed Company. Ziehl-Abegg balances attractive working conditions with economic growth. It is an example of how companies can make a significant difference in their region," emphasizes Dr. Christine Wolter, Partner and Lead of Deloitte Private. From this position, the German company has set the course for sustainable global growth this year with a newly developed strategy and a comprehensive structural realignment.

As part of the application process, participating companies are evaluated on their excellence in the following four core areas of the BMC evaluation framework: Strategy, Productivity and Innovation, Culture and Commitment, as well as Governance and Finance. A company is awarded the title of Best Managed Company if it demonstrates high performance in all four areas.
