The robot manufacturer Yaskawa is presenting itself for the first time at this year's ACHEMA and is showcasing two current Motoman models for use in the chemical and process industries, laboratories and analysis tasks, as well as in pharmaceutical, packaging, and warehouse technology: At the trade fair booth, the Motoman MH3BM, specifically developed for automation tasks in the biomedical field, will be introduced. The humanoid robot Motoman CSDA10F will also perform complex laboratory activities in a live demo cell.

The suitability for health-threatening work steps, as well as unmatched high precision and repeatability, make robots ideal helpers in the laboratory and cleanroom environment. Yaskawa, a globally leading manufacturer of industrial robots with a European branch in Allershausen near Munich, has been shaping this market from the very beginning.

Dual-Arm Robot Motoman CSDA10F

At ACHEMA, Yaskawa presents the dual-arm robot Motoman CSDA10F. The series robot, specially designed to meet hygiene requirements in the laboratory sector, demonstrates through initial installations in biomedical synthesis (cancer drug development) and chemical analysis (sample preparation) that it can handle almost any existing standard laboratory equipment and conventional analysis devices. Automatic analysis devices with specialized liquid handling systems and expensive consumables are not necessary. The robot is ideally suited for standardized test procedures, yet remains flexible and can quickly and easily learn entirely new workflows. It is also an interesting solution in process development.

Handling Robot Motoman MH3BM

Furthermore, Yaskawa presents the specially designed handling robot Motoman MH3BM for applications in the biomedical field as a stand model. It meets the highest hygiene standards and can therefore be used for the development of new drugs as well as for sample processing or pharmaceutical dosing applications. The approval for use in ISO5 cleanroom class also enables a wide range of assembly, handling, and packaging tasks in laboratories or production facilities across many industries.
