Work Münsterland: Construction progress ceremoniously honored

On Tuesday, May 6, 2025, Bausch+Ströbel commemorated the progress of construction at the new production site in Dülmen with a support festival. Invited guests, project participants, as well as representatives from politics and business gathered on the premises to jointly celebrate this symbolic milestone.

Future innovative insulators for sensitive pharmaceutical products will be produced at the new location – a forward-looking expansion of the Bausch+Ströbel portfolio. The modern production hall with an adjoining three-story office building is being realized by the Goldbeck branch in Münster.

In his speech, Markus Ströbel, shareholder and board member of Bausch+Ströbel, emphasized the strategic importance of the project for the company.

Markus Ströbel also provided an overview of the key construction data: a 5,000 m² large production hall and a three-story office building with approximately 3,000 m² of space are planned, built according to the KfW-40 low-energy standard. Sustainable technologies such as a heat pump, a photovoltaic system with 600 kWp capacity, and underfloor heating with partial cooling will ensure energy-efficient supply. The hall construction will be equipped with 10-ton crane systems.

Dülmen's mayor, Carsten Hövekamp, humorously referenced the local festival culture in his speech: "Dülmen has 18 shooting clubs and thus many shooting festivals – but this is our first support festival." At the same time, he expressed his thanks to the shareholder families who chose the Dülmen location and emphasized the importance of the 150 jobs created for the region.

Christian Terwey, branch manager of the Goldbeck branch in Münster, praised the smooth cooperation with the authorities and expressed his pleasure at the visible progress: "A support festival is more beautiful to me than a groundbreaking ceremony because you can already see what is being built." He also expressed his hope to welcome all involved to the official inauguration in a year's time.

A special highlight was the ceremonial support christening, which marked the conclusion of the official program. Afterwards, there was an opportunity for exchange and a view of the future development of the site over snacks and conversations.

With the Dülmen project, Bausch+Ströbel sends a clear signal for further growth – and underscores its role as a reliable and innovative partner for the pharmaceutical industry.
