WOHR® expands aluminum profile housing series

Visually appealing, functional, versatile, and slip-resistant. These are just some of the properties of the profile housing with a design seal, which Richard Wöhr GmbH has developed in the Black Forest as an additional standard product for their housing portfolio.

The basis is the proven profile from the ALU-PRIMUS series, available in various sizes. These profiles are characterized, among other things, by the fact that circuit boards can be installed not only horizontally but also vertically.

During the development of the profile, WÖHR paid attention to making the surface as smooth as possible. Grooves, channels, and edges were largely omitted. This allows the housing to be cleaned and disinfected comfortably and safely. Therefore, it can be used without issues in areas with high hygiene requirements, such as medical or food sectors.

The newly developed design seal, made from silicone-free TPE, provides additional slip resistance alongside an attractive appearance. Especially on smooth surfaces, this ensures added safety.
