Successful Launch of the Digital365 Platform

The opening event for the new Digital365 platform took place on March 24, 2021.

Over 1,000 people participated in this event.

Inspire assembled a dedicated team with their partners and set up a studio.
The goal was to showcase the possibilities during the pandemic and present the new platform. The four-hour program was arranged very flexibly and allowed all involved and participants to inform themselves comprehensively and according to their needs.

The Perfect Studio Conditions

The studio has a basic area of 200m², a stage of 60m², and an LED wall measuring 14m x 2.5m. These are optimal conditions for producing various formats, from talk shows to recording lectures to entire events.

The Program

The opening event program utilized many formats available in the studio. Expert lectures were recorded and integrated into the live stream, the talk show was live, and the award ceremony was a mix of both.
Two moderators, Lena Reuter and Simon Diez, guided the program and made the event an entertaining experience.

Expert Lectures

Three speakers were engaged for the expert lectures: Mr. Robert Röschen from Neugebauer + Röschen Architects, who addressed the topic "Better Building with the Optimal BGF Factor"; Mr. Florian Dittel from Dittel Engineering with the topic "Contents and Contexts of a Cleanroom Project"; and Mr. Matthias Alber from Briem Steuerungstechnik with an outlook on "Monitoring Systems and the Opportunity of Digitalization."

Company Presentations

During the lunch break, participants could engage with nearly 200 companies presenting themselves as part of the event. Almost 100 videos were provided by the companies, offering a variety of information. The chat and exchange options were actively used, and new contacts were made.

Talk Show

After lunch, the talk show featured four guests. The live stream discussion focused on the industry’s outlook for the future. Four guests from different fields answered questions and engaged in lively discussion for an hour. From the process sector was Mr. Richard Denk, Scan / ISPE; from cleanroom technology, Dr. Udo Gommel, IPA Fraunhofer; from GMP / consulting, Mr. Wolfgang Rudloff, gmp-experts; and on projects, Mr. Rino Woyczyk, Drees & Sommer.

Award Ceremony "Reiner! 2021"

The event concluded with the "Reiner! 2021" award ceremony, the Fraunhofer Cleanroom Technology Award, which recognizes groundbreaking developments in cleanroom technology. The three winners were Igus, Pflitsch, and Zeiss. The exact rankings can be seen in the video, showcasing Pflitsch’s first hygienic design plastic cable gland, Igus’s wear-resistant cable management system made from high-performance plastic, or Zeiss’s new solution for light microscopic analysis of technical cleanliness.
