EAP Lachnit has expanded its floor conveyor program with a new model: The electrically operated hand pallet truck type 400 Quick E is made entirely of stainless steel and meets the high legal requirements for use in sensitive areas such as food and chemical production, biotechnology, as well as in special versions for cleanrooms or Ex-zones. A powerful electric drive ensures easy and agile operation, along with innovative technology for quick manual lifting of loads. The electric hand pallet truck impresses with high operational safety, low maintenance, and easy cleaning.

Transporting goods in production facilities and warehouses is often tight. Here, agile and reliable pallet trucks are needed, which can also handle heavy loads. The German manufacturer EAP Lachnit has now equipped its proven manual hand pallet truck type 400 Quick with an electric drive, making operation even easier. The new 400 Quick E is built very robustly and suitable for continuous use. It transports up to 1500 kg and lifts with a manual lift up to 205 mm (with an undercarriage height of 85 mm). In the standard version, forks with dimensions 1150 x 540 mm are installed, suitable for Euro pallets, grid boxes, and big boxes. Other fork lengths and widths are also optionally available.

The electric drive allows stepless driving speed and supports the handling of heavy loads. The energy for the drive is supplied by a durable, maintenance-free 20 Ah lithium-ion battery, which can be charged via an integrated charger at any 230-volt socket. The battery charge indicator informs about the remaining capacity of the battery. After a few minutes of inactivity, the 400 Quick E automatically switches to standby mode, reducing energy consumption. In multi-shift operation, the portable battery can alternatively be easily and quickly replaced.

Both the drive wheel and tandem fork rollers are made of robust polyurethane, enabling high-quality, comfortable, and quiet driving as well as maximum load capacity and long service life. The integrated horn warns the operator of dangerous situations.

Versatile use

The electric pallet trucks are made entirely of stainless steel (1.4301 / V2A / AISI 403) with polished surfaces and meet the protection class IP67. Thanks to their construction and material properties, they are suitable for sensitive areas such as food and chemical production or biotechnology, and with optional equipment, also for use in cleanrooms and Ex-zones. In the "Ex version," the type 400 Quick Atex and TÜV South are certified and approved for the Ex II 2 GD c zone.

Especially in chemical, pharmaceutical, and food production, strict hygiene regulations apply. The floor conveyor systems used must therefore be easy and thorough to clean. The stainless steel material with polished surfaces allows for quick and thorough cleaning.
