Where is the future of cleanroom technology heading?

First Cleanzone Congress bridges the gap between innovative technology and current practice

Where is the future of cleanroom technology heading? How can contamination-free environments be optimally utilized across various industries? What new possibilities are available today – and which ones will be possible tomorrow? The conference for the first Cleanzone on October 24 and 25, 2012, in Frankfurt spans from technological visions through current scientific findings to practical reports.

"Our goal with the Cleanzone Congress is to provide interdisciplinary, well-founded basic knowledge about cleanrooms and controlled environments, as well as concrete know-how regarding their setup, optimization, and operation," says Klaus Reinke, member of the management board of Messe Frankfurt Exhibition. The content focus of the congress is organized by the Cleanroom Academy from Leipzig and the partner associations of Messe Frankfurt. "Our standards for the program are high. All presentations are based on scientific insights and are product- and company-independent. To promote knowledge exchange across borders, we invite many internationally recognized experts," says Frank Duvernell, Managing Director of the Cleanroom Academy.

Topics 2012

Over two days, the Cleanzone Congress provides an overview of all essential topics relevant to the planning, construction, and operation of cleanrooms. In addition to the planning fundamentals, the event focuses on current technological developments and future perspectives of cleanroom technology. Operational topics such as cleaning, clothing, and training round out the technical program. The topics are divided as follows:

Parallel Trade Fair Cleanzone

The congress takes place on October 24 and 25, 2012, alongside the Cleanzone trade fair, where manufacturers from the fields of cleanroom systems, technology, and construction components, as well as consumables, present their products. Universities and colleges are also participating. While the congress complements the trade fair with a high-quality knowledge platform, the exhibition offers congress participants the opportunity to find interesting suppliers, planners, and consultants on-site.

Independent of the congress, Cleanzone offers its exhibitors the opportunity to present themselves through lectures or workshops during the fair. Slots are bookable for exhibitors, and attending the exhibitor presentations is free for visitors. A Cleanzone café next door provides space for communication and networking.

Prices and Registration

The Cleanzone Congress takes place in the "Europe" conference hall of Hall 4.0 at the Frankfurt exhibition grounds. The participation fee is 600 euros (full-day ticket) or 450 euros (single-day ticket) and includes the lecture program, catering, an evening event, and access to the trade fair.
